Rohan is a celebrated mangaka who first meets Koichi and Toshikazu when they show up at his house hoping to get an autograph. When they try to sneak a look at his unreleased manga, things turn hostile—Rohan uses his Stand, Heaven's Door, to paralyze them and prevent any counterattack. He then reads straight from their memories, learning about Josuke, Okuyasu, and everyone else Koichi knows, all filtered through Koichi's own perspective. Impressed by what he discovers, Rohan decides these people would make perfect material for his work.
He keeps Koichi around as his personal source of inspiration, using him repeatedly. Eventually Okuyasu and Josuke catch on by tailing Koichi and figure out where he's been disappearing to. They confront Rohan, defeat him in a fight, and leave him hospitalized for a while.
