Shizuka Homura is a novice Congressman in the holo game Roundrobin. He's best known for his eerily calm demeanor—the kind of guy who hides pretty much everything behind a gentle smile. Emotions don't really register on his face much, but make no mistake: he's got an iron will when it comes to survival. He'll do whatever it takes to come out on top.
There's something a bit murky about his character though. He's dutiful enough to visit his ailing father regularly, but whether that stems from genuine love or he's just after the money is genuinely unclear—and probably intentionally so. That ambiguity kind of defines him.
