Naoto is Hinata's older brother and works as a police officer. He's best known for helping Takemichi navigate the bizarre situation of traveling back in time—something that happens through a handshake between the two of them. When Takemichi first gets sent to the past and makes a promise to protect Hinata, Naoto becomes his most reliable ally and source of information going forward. Basically, he's the guy keeping Takemichi grounded and informed throughout the whole time-travel mess.
