Anne (full name Anghalhad) is a member of the Percival Platoon and easily one of the group's most skilled fighters. She fights with a rapier disguised as an umbrella, relying on speed and her sharp defensive instincts to read and counter her opponents' moves. Her real edge in combat, though, is a supernatural ability to see through lies and deception—she can spot false intentions and illusions instantly, which makes her invaluable in a fight but also exhausting to be around if you're not being straight with her.
She comes from nobility and definitely carries that attitude. She's ambitious and confident in her abilities, sometimes to the point of arrogance, and she doesn't always respect her teammates as equals. That said, she has serious motivation: becoming a Holy Knight like her mother is her main goal.
Her distrust of strangers is pretty severe—the ability to constantly sense dishonesty tends to do that to a person. She assumes the worst at first and keeps people at arm's length. But once she decides to trust someone, it's absolute. She'll put her life on the line for them without hesitation. It's that intensity that defines her more than any of the spoiled noble girl stereotypes you might expect.
