Rin is best known as the sole survivor of the demon tribe war that took place eight centuries ago. As an Idaten, she carries the enormous responsibility of maintaining the seal that keeps the demons locked away—a job she's taken seriously enough to dedicate the last eight hundred years to it.
She's the one who summoned both Hayato and Prontea into action, and she's been their trainer ever since. Her methods are notoriously brutal; she pushes her students to the brink of death as part of her regimen, which speaks to her philosophy that real strength demands suffering. When she's not stationed near the seal, she moves at incredible speed across the globe, searching out new summoning locations to prepare for potential threats.
As the strongest Idaten currently alive, Rin wields a particularly devastating ability: she can generate a sword directly from her own body. This weapon is powerful enough to literally split regions apart and cause massive destruction—which, combined with her personality, probably explains why even her allies seem somewhat afraid of her.
