Synopsis

Eight hundred years ago, humanity faced annihilation from demons. Desperate prayers to the gods produced the Idaten—battle deities with superhuman strength who wiped out the demon threat and ushered in an era of lasting peace. Now, the current generation of Idaten has only ever known peace. They've trained under Rin, the sole survivor from that ancient war, and mostly just figure out how to stay relevant in a world that doesn't really need gods anymore. That all changes when the Zoble Empire manages to resurrect a demon, dragging these inexperienced Idaten back into combat with the very creatures they were born to fight.
