Bake-Zouri
Bake-Zouri is a sandal-type Tsukumogami—basically a supernatural creature born from an old zouri that's gained a life of its own. The name literally means "Monster Zouri," which is pretty straightforward.
He shows up as an antagonist in Kitarou's stories, making trouble rather than being an ally. Like most Tsukumogami, Bake-Zouri represents the kind of yokai that emerges from everyday objects that have hung around long enough to develop their own spirit and consciousness. In his case, it's just a worn-out sandal that decided to become a problem.
