Ibaraki is best known as a minor but memorable character from Cyborg 009's Underground Empire of Yomi arc in the manga. He and Joe Shimamura go way back—they were cellmates and friends during Joe's time at Kurihama juvenile hall, where they bonded over their delinquent days together.
