Zarbon serves as Freeza's top lieutenant and one of his most formidable fighters. With his long green braided hair, tiara, and earrings, he stands out among Freeza's army—and he knows it. He's vain about his appearance and judges everything around him through that same lens of attractiveness. What makes him interesting is his transformation ability: he can shift into a reptilian beast form that cranks up his power significantly but absolutely tanks his looks. He hates using it for exactly that reason, which is a pretty defining character flaw.
He's best known for his role on Planet Namek, where he fights and overpowers Vegeta before capturing him. He also shows up in various Freeza Saga filler episodes and notably appears in Bardock: Father of Goku, where he advises Freeza to destroy Planet Vegeta.
The Budokai Tenkaichi 2 game gave him a fun "what-if" scenario: Zarbon goes after the Dragon Balls himself, wishing for eternal beauty. He actually gets it, but it doesn't save him when Planet Namek explodes anyway—rough deal.
Voice-wise, Sho Hayami handles his Japanese voice. Paul Dobson voiced him in the Ocean Group dub with an Australian accent, while Christopher Sabat took over for the later FUNimation redub and gave him a British one instead.
