Shaiapouf is a butterfly-humanoid Chimera Ant and one of the Royal Guards serving the King.
He markets himself as the logical one of the three guards—constantly preaching the virtues of reason over emotion. In reality, his obsession with the King undermines everything he claims to stand for. He's built an impossible, inflexible ideal of what the King should be, and he enforces it with religious fervor. When the King strays from Pouf's vision, he doesn't just disagree; he spirals into unhinged rants and scheming.
His hatred of Komugi borders on pathological. He sees her as the reason the King hasn't conquered the world yet, blaming her for distracting him from his "evolutionary destiny." Pouf is genuinely talented at manipulation—he's clever with psychological games and sabotage, and he'll lie, backstab, or kill without hesitation if it keeps the King's image (in his mind) intact.
The irony is brutal: when things get serious, Pouf abandons all pretense of rationality. He acts on pure emotion, driven by obsession rather than logic. He's actually the most unhinged of the three guards—manic, delusional, and completely consumed by his love for the King.
