The Medaka Mermaid Quintuplets
A group of five tiny mermaid sisters who hang out with Keimi. They're best known for their hilariously repetitive speech pattern—each sister riffs on whatever the first one says, cycling through enthusiastic confirmation, outright contradiction, skeptical questioning, and philosophical indifference. So if Ichika says "Luffy is a pirate," Nika yells it back excitedly, Sanka denies it, Yonka throws in some doubt, and Yonka Two asks why it even matters. They do this constantly, which is kind of their whole thing.
The five are named Ichika, Nika, Sanka, Yonka, and Yonka Two. Nika stands out visually with her blonde hair, red-striped tail, and matching red top and hat. Beyond the bit, they're genuinely cheerful and friendly, rarely straying far from each other.
