He's got the looks—the kind of guy who's always carrying a rose around—and he definitely plays up the sophisticated, charming persona. But here's the thing: he's actually cheating. He tucks a tiny piece of paper with a prepared speech inside those roses so he doesn't have to remember anything on his own. And it gets worse. Ryou regularly messes up kanji when he writes, sometimes even fumbling his own name, which pretty much says everything about where his intelligence level is at.
The funny part is how earnestly he delivers these scripted lines in this super dramatic, princely way. It's basically the opposite of how Keima does it—Keima actually memorizes his stuff and makes it sound natural. Ryou? He just goes all-in on the act, cheat sheet and all.
