Silva is Killua's father—a quiet, thoughtful guy who doesn't interact with his son all that much. He lets Killua travel with Gon, though his reasoning is pretty practical: he sees it as a way for Killua to toughen up and learn how to survive on his own out in the world. During the York Shin City arc, Silva and his own father Zeno get hired by the Mafia to take out the Genei Ryodan, but they bail on the contract after their clients get murdered by Illumi, Maha, and Karuto.
