Basically the tech support guy you'd want in a crisis. He runs a food truck called Café Nom that serves as the unofficial headquarters for him and Yusaku Fujiki's operations. As a skilled hacker with deep knowledge of LINK VRAINS, he's become invaluable to Playmaker and Soulburner in their ongoing fight against the Knights of Hanoi—he's pulled them out of tight spots more than once with crucial intel or strategic hacking. While Yusaku's out there dueling, Kusanagi keeps things running behind the scenes and handles the day-to-day of the food truck. He's got a younger brother named Jin who he looks out for, and the whole Café Nom setup has basically become a safe haven for the group.
