Kana
Kana is a half-mermaid, half-vampire youkai who's currently five years old, though her physical appearance can change dramatically depending on circumstances. She and her twin sister Mina lost their parents in an incident shortly after birth and have been raised by Shidou ever since.
The main thing that sets Kana apart from Mina is her vampire heritage—it's much more dominant in her blood. When she drinks blood, her body develops into a teenage form, complete with a noticeably curvier figure than her twin. It's a pretty significant transformation that doesn't happen to Mina the same way.
Personality-wise, she's the quieter half of the pair. Kana tends to be soft-spoken and has a habit of apologizing for whatever chaos or rudeness Mina causes, which is basically her constant state. She serves as kind of a counterbalance to her sister's more aggressive nature, though fans often note the dynamic works well between them despite—or maybe because of—how opposite they are.
