Columbine
Columbine is the only female among the four master automatons, and she serves as the circus's acrobat and rope walker. She's best known for her incredible aerial abilities—she can jump remarkably high and move with the grace of a seasoned performer.
What makes her character compelling is the disconnect between her dreams and her nature. She desperately wants to experience the kind of love story she's read about in books, but there's a fundamental problem: as an automaton, she can't actually feel another person's touch. That gap between romantic longing and physical sensation defines much of her inner conflict.
