A youkai sent by Gyokumen Koushu to take down the Sanzo party. His real power lies in his eyes—he can hypnotize people and mess with their heads using his words, which makes him genuinely dangerous in a fight. That said, the guy's kind of a mess otherwise. He dresses weird (seriously, those leather pants), speaks like he's performing Shakespeare, and won't stop talking to himself. Oh, and he has absolutely no sense of direction and basically zero redeeming qualities beyond being weirdly entertaining to watch. The Sanzo group managed to break through his hypnosis eventually, but at least he's got speed going for him—the man can run.
