Tenka Izumo commands the 6th Squad of the Demon Defense Corps. She's responsible for keeping her squad combat-ready and trained, and leads them on operations into Mato to protect civilians and fight off the Shuuki.
She comes across as calm, mature, and genuinely nice to be around. Her squad respects her, and she's known for being supportive when things go wrong in a fight. She's closest with Kyouka Uzen, the 7th Squad Commander—partly because their territories border each other, but also because they just click. That said, Tenka doesn't hold back when it comes to flirting or teasing, especially around Yuuki once he starts working with Kyouka's squad.
Her signature ability, Ame-no-Mitori, lets her warp space itself. She can tear open wormholes to shred enemies or teleport herself and others across distances instantly. It's also useful for sneaking into places she shouldn't be during covert ops.
<spoiler>When Tenka first met Yuuki Wakura, she was curious. Then intrigued. Then she fell for him—genuinely. She's seen what he's capable of in combat and developed real respect for how hard he fights to protect everyone. Her feelings run deep enough that when Aoba Wakura (Yuuki's older sister) went after him, Tenka couldn't bring herself to fight back, even taking a full-power attack without retaliating.</spoiler>
