Karma's got a reputation around school as the violent troublemaker, and honestly, it's earned. A teacher betrayed his trust back in the main building, which basically poisoned his view of all adults—he has almost no respect for them now. He's frighteningly good at fighting, manipulation, and weaponry, and he genuinely enjoys causing problems. He's one of the few students who's actually managed to hurt Korosensei.
On the surface, Karasuma pegged him as lazy, but there's mischief written all over his face. Karma skips boring stuff like assemblies without blinking, and when he actually fights, he gets vicious—no hesitation about roughing up anyone who threatens him or his Class E friends.
