Haqua du Lot Herminium is the tritagonist of The World God Only Knows. She serves as District Chief of Area 32 in Nagumo City and was the valedictorian of her grade—though despite her academic standing, she's actually not among the top performers in the Runaway Spirit Squad. She's Elsie's role model and best friend, though she took a while to admit they were actually close.
Personality-wise, Haqua's a contradiction. She's incredibly hard on herself and aggressive, yet has a real soft spot for people she cares about. She grew up fiercely independent and hates asking for help, going to extreme lengths to hide any mistakes that might damage her reputation. Ironically, Nora has pointed out more than once that Haqua's too honest and trusts people too easily—a blind spot in someone so careful about appearances.
Her combat abilities are her real strength. She wields a scythe with a distinctive fighting style and knows more spells than Elsie, including the ability to summon azure flames from her weapon. She's even figured out how to control those flames precisely enough to use them as mid-range attacks—hot enough to destroy a Vintage communicator in seconds. This power apparently comes from the scythe itself since she kept it even after getting fired.
Beyond that, she can fly, create dolls, and alter how objects look using hagoromo skills. Her most unique ability is video playback of the past, letting her gather information from the previous few days when needed. Even without her hagoromo after being dismissed, Haqua manages to maintain flight by simultaneously controlling around 20 different types of spells—a skill she picked up during her school days.
