Yoshinori Miyamasu is Kainan's sixth man, and his whole thing is flying under the radar. He's unassuming enough that opponents tend to overlook what he can actually do on the court—particularly his 3-point shot, which is genuinely reliable and ranks up there with Jin's and Mitsui's in terms of accuracy. He wears glasses normally but switches to goggles when he gets playing time.
His first real game comes when Coach Riki Takato brings him in with a specific job: lock down Sakuragi. Takato figures Sakuragi won't respect Yoshinori enough to defend him seriously, and that miscalculation is exactly what makes Yoshinori effective. It's a smart bit of strategy that plays directly to Yoshinori's advantages.
