Agott is Qifrey's first apprentice and comes from the prestigious Arklaum house, a family of librarians at the Tower of Tomes. She's determined to follow in their footsteps and prove herself worthy of that legacy.
She's serious about magic—almost obsessively so. She'll wake up early or stay up all night studying for exams, and she takes her training incredibly seriously. The problem is that despite her genuine skill and work ethic, she tends to fixate on what she can't do rather than celebrating what she can. This makes her feel perpetually inadequate, no matter how much she accomplishes.
That self-consciousness makes her prickly. She doesn't handle being seen as average well and has a tendency to look down on people she views as beneath her or who don't grasp magic the way she does. When Coco showed up at the atelier fresh off discovering magic existed, Agott made her take the Consent of the Crown test right away—partly to prove a point about how serious magic actually is.
She speaks with a formal, ladylike tone and likes to make her stuffed animals dance, which is honestly pretty endearing for someone so wound up about everything else.
