The Empire throws wave after wave of autonomous Legion drones at the Republic, so the Republic responds with their own unmanned weapons—creating what's officially a war with zero casualties. Neat in theory. Except it's all a lie. Beyond the Republic's eighty-five protected sectors is the Eighty-Sixth—a place the government pretends doesn't exist. The people there, stripped of citizenship and humanity, are called the Eighty-Six. And those "unmanned" weapons everyone celebrates? They're actually piloted by these same disposable people, sent to die on the front lines.
