Kono Oto Tomare!
Takezou Kurata's koto club is falling apart. After everyone else graduated, he's stuck as the sole surviving member and club president, desperately trying to recruit new people. Nobody's interested, and he's basically given up hope until Chika Kudou—a notorious delinquent with a bad reputation—shows up insisting he'll join and take over as president. Kurata's skeptical at first. The guy's got a sketchy past and seems like nothing but trouble. But when Kurata gets a glimpse of Kudou's softer side and learns about some mysterious connection he has to the club, he decides to give him a chance. That's when koto prodigy Satowa Houzuki comes in and works her magic, bringing along Kudou's friends—the energetic Saneyasu Adachi, Michitaka Sakai, and Kouta Mizuhara. With enough members to keep the club officially alive, Houzuki drops a bombshell: they're going to become the best koto players in the country. Kurata's not thrilled about that plan. But this unlikely group of musicians is about to find out that if they can get past their differences and fears, they might actually pull it off.
