Synopsis

"Our cat might be turning into a nekomata." follows life in a small rural town where youkai, gods, and regular people just. live together. It's mostly everyday stuff, with occasional moments of warmth and mystery thrown in. The story kicks off when Buchio, a twenty-year-old cat, suddenly transforms into a nekomata. Confused about why it's happening, he teams up with Yuri, a kitsune who's also going through her own transformation, to figure out what's going on. Meanwhile, Muu-chan has been watching the crow tengu Jirou handle his tengu duties, and starts developing feelings for him. At the same time, word spreads about an unlucky nue that's causing trouble in town.
