Synopsis

Sixteen-year-old idol Ai Hoshino has it all—talent, beauty, and devoted fans who see her as the perfect innocent star. But there's way more going on behind the scenes than anyone realizes. Gorou Amemiya is a gynecologist from the countryside and a huge Ai fan. So when she shows up at his hospital pregnant and asking for his help, he's completely thrown. He promises to deliver her baby safely. Then a mysterious encounter kills him—or at least, that's what he thinks happens. When Gorou comes to, he's lying in Ai's lap as her newborn son, Aquamarine. His entire life just got flipped upside down. Now he's learning firsthand how brutal the entertainment industry really is—talent alone doesn't guarantee anything. With help from some unexpected allies, Gorou sets out to protect the smile of the woman he loves, even if she has no idea who he really is.
