From Mie Prefecture, Japan. She's been drawing manga since she was a kid and dropped out of high school to work as an assistant—pretty much took the direct route to becoming a mangaka.

Her debut came in 2009 with Maken☆H Zemi!, which ran in Magazine WOoooo! before getting collected in the Mokkai Shiyo? compilation. Regular contributions to the magazine caught the eye of an editor at Futabasha, who brought her on to create Haruwaka—her first actual serialization.

In November 2019, she announced on Twitter that she'd gotten married.
