Synopsis

Staz Charlie Blood rules his demon district with an iron fist—except he's kind of lazy about it. He's a vampire who won't drink human blood and is weirdly obsessed with Japanese culture. So when a human girl named Fuyumi Yanagi stumbles into the Demon World, Staz is thrilled. Finally, a real human he can quiz about her society. Their chat gets interrupted when some rival demon decides to challenge Staz's authority. He crushes the guy pretty easily, but when he gets back, Fuyumi's been eaten by a carnivorous plant. Great. The good news? She's still around as a ghost. The bad news? Staz isn't interested in ghost-Fuyumi anymore—he was only into her because she was, you know, actually human. So now he's on a mission to find a resurrection spell, which means heading to the human world. Perfect excuse for Staz to finally visit Japan in person. What starts as a resurrection quest turns into a chaotic adventure with Fuyumi, Staz, and whoever else tags along. Things get weird pretty fast.
