Synopsis

Tatara Fujita's a third-year middle schooler with zero direction—no dreams, no plans, just drifting through life. He's the type who gets bullied and shaken down for money because he lacks confidence. Everything changes when Kaname Sengoku, a motorcycle-riding dance instructor, saves him from a group of delinquents and drags him to Ogasawara Dance Studio under the mistaken impression that Tatara was interested in dancing. At the studio, Tatara gets paired with Shizuku Hanaoka, a talented dancer from his school, for a trial lesson. After getting roughed up by bullies again the next day and rescued once more, he decides he's had enough. He asks the studio to teach him dancing, hoping it'll help him turn his life around. What starts as an escape plan becomes genuine passion as Tatara throws himself into dancing and discovers a whole new world he never knew existed.
