Synopsis

Aoba Suzukaze is fresh out of high school with big dreams of becoming a character designer. She lands a job at Eagle Jump, the game company behind Fairies Story—a series she's loved for years. Her first assignment puts her on a team of six designers, and she gets lucky enough to work directly under Kou Yagami, the original lead designer for Fairies Story. Working alongside her idol, Aoba dives into learning everything she can about character design and the game industry itself. New Game! follows Aoba and her teammates as they juggle the ups and downs of game development. The crew is working hard to bring Fairies Story 3 to life, the next entry in the beloved series. It's equal parts comedy and drama as they navigate deadlines, creative challenges, and their relationships with each other.
