That fragile peace shatters when the aging shogun Ieyasu Tokugawa decides to settle a succession dispute between his two grandsons through combat. He orders each clan to send ten of their strongest fighters into a death match—whoever wins determines the next heir. The problem is, not everyone wants this war.
