Nozomi Yumehara is your average high school student until she stumbles upon a magical book called the Dream Collet in her school library. Inside, she meets Coco and Nuts, two creatures from the Palmier Kingdom, and learns that their world has been ravaged by the Nightmares—a malevolent organization now threatening to invade the real world too. The only way to save both worlds is to complete the Dream Collet by collecting all 55 Pinkies, magical beings whose combined power can grant any wish. Nozomi agrees to the task, and Coco and Nuts transform her into Cure Dream, a magical girl warrior. They also recruit four of her classmates, turning them into a Pretty Cure team to fight alongside her.
