Beryl Gardinant is a retired sword instructor running a quiet dojo in a backwater village. He's given up on his old dreams of becoming a legendary swordsman—those days are long past. Then out of nowhere, a famous former student shows up with shocking news: Beryl's been recruited as a special instructor for the Liberion Order's knights. Suddenly uprooted to the capital, Beryl reconnects with several of his old students who've gone on to become powerhouses in their own right: elite knights, a top-tier wizard, and an adventurer who's reached the highest rank in the guild.
