Synopsis

Bowser, a dragon-like tyrant, kidnaps Princess Toadstool and threatens to turn the entire Mushroom Kingdom to stone unless she agrees to marry him. The kingdom's residents—mostly sentient mushroom people—are helpless against his magic. Before Peach can make a move against him herself, Mario and Luigi, two plumbers who somehow ended up in this weird fantasy world, decide to step in. They're trying to stop the princess from taking matters into her own hands, but their real goal is to take down Bowser once and for all.
