Synopsis

Even with all the future's tech and progress, school bullying never goes out of style. Haruyuki Arita is overweight, friendless, and an easy target for every bully at his junior high. His life completely changes when Kuroyukihime, a gorgeous and distant upperclassman, approaches him and introduces him to Brain Burst—a secret program that lets users access the Accelerated World. With her guidance, Haruyuki discovers he can become a Burst Linker and finally escape his miserable reality. In the Accel World, he gets a chance to reinvent himself and become a powerful knight protecting his princess.
