Twelve thousand years after the original Aquarion conflict, humanity faces a new threat: interdimensional creatures called Abductors who invade cities and abduct people just like the Shadow Angels before them. To fight back, the organization Neo-DEAVA assembles two teams—one all-male, one all-female—each piloting giant mecha called Aquaria. When his new friend Mikono gets caught up in an abduction, teenager Amata Sora finally reveals the secret powers he's hidden his whole life. By combining the male and female pilots' Vectors into a single machine, he brings back the legendary Aquarion.
