Little Busters!
Riki Naoe is a high school student dealing with the aftermath of his parents' deaths. When he was younger and struggling with grief, a group of kids calling themselves the Little Busters pulled him out of it. The group consisted of three boys and a girl around his age: Kyousuke Natsume (the leader), his sister Rin, Masato Inohara, and Kengo Miyazawa. They brought Riki into their circle and made him the fifth member, spending time with him and basically helping him move past his loss through friendship and play. By the time the story picks up, they're still close—Riki and most of the group are in their second year of high school, with Kyousuke a year ahead as a third-year. They continue hanging out and enjoying their school days together.
