Synopsis

Boruto is Naruto's kid, and he can't stand his dad. Sure, Naruto's this legendary hero that everyone respects, but that just makes Boruto want to prove he's better. Eventually he tracks down Sasuke, one of his father's old friends, and basically begs the guy to take him on as a student. So yeah, that's how the next generation's story kicks off, straight from creator Masashi Kishimoto.
