Sasuke's entire clan was slaughtered by his older brother Itachi when he was still a child. After sparing him, Itachi told Sasuke to hate him—and that demand became the driving force of his life. For years Sasuke tried to move past the trauma by diving into the ninja academy and blending in with the rest of the village, but that changed after his fight with Naruto. He realized he'd been wasting time playing ninja with people from the Leaf Village. Now his only goal is to grow strong enough to kill Itachi and restore his clan's honor.
As an Uchiha, Sasuke inherited the Sharingan, one of the clan's most powerful abilities. He's built his fighting style around fire and lightning jutsu, and he can summon the Chidori—a lightning-infused technique that puts out devastating force. During the Chunin Exams, Orochimaru marked him with a curse seal that boosted his power but threatened to kill him; eventually Sasuke learned to control it and activate it on his own terms. In his curse seal form, his skin turns grey and massive wings sprout from his back.
Sasuke spent much of his early career claiming he didn't need friends, but his actions told a different story. Whenever Naruto or Sakura faced real danger, he'd drop everything to protect them. That contradiction—the cold exterior masking genuine care—is what kept Naruto fighting to bring him back. By his own admission, Naruto became his closest friend, though Sasuke took a long time coming to terms with that.
Look
Black hair with a slight blue tint, pale skin, and dark eyes—Sasuke's appearance is distinctly Uchiha. Like other members of his clan, his hair frames both sides of his face down to roughly his cheeks. In Part I, he wore a blue short-sleeved shirt with an upright collar and the Uchiha crest on the back, paired with white shorts. As he changed outfits throughout the arc, the crest on his back gradually shrunk. During the later stages of the Chunin Exams he switched to a sleek black one-piece outfit before eventually cycling back to his original look.
By Part II, Sasuke had grown noticeably taller and more built, nearly matching Itachi's height. His style shifted too—a white long-sleeved shirt worn open at the chest with a smaller version of the Uchiha crest on the collar, black pants, and a distinctive blue cloth hanging from his waist down to his knees. Personality
Sasuke hates natto and sweet foods, but he's got a taste for omusubi with okaka and tomatoes. His dislikes are pretty straightforward—anything that gets between him and revenge. That single-minded obsession defined his character for years. But underneath all that cold determination was someone capable of genuine bonds, even if he spent half the series denying it.
