What was supposed to be a boring C-rank mission turns out to be way more complicated than anyone expected. Squad Seven gets hired to escort Shibuki, a nervous young leader, back to the Hidden Waterfall Village. The trip goes fine until they arrive—then they're stuck cleaning the village pond instead of heading home. While Naruto, Sasuke, and Sakura are dealing with garbage duty, Kakashi suddenly gets called away on urgent business back in his own village. That's when things go south. A skilled rogue ninja named Suien shows up with his crew, and he's after the Hidden Waterfall Village's most prized secret: a powerful potion called the Hero's Water. He'll stop at nothing to get it. Now the three genin are on their own, without Kakashi to back them up, facing the deadliest threat they've encountered yet.
