Kakashi claims to have "many hobbies" when pressed, but he's almost always reading the Icha Icha series—those adult novels by Jiraiya that somehow became bestsellers. He reads them everywhere: training sessions, team meetings, you name it. He went through at least three volumes across the series.
Food-wise, he's pickier than most. He loves broiled saury with salt and miso soup with eggplant, but anything sweet is a hard pass.
The Guy Rivalry
Might Guy treats Kakashi as his sworn rival, constantly pushing challenges. Kakashi doesn't really engage with it—which drives Guy crazy. Their unofficial record sits at 49-50 in Guy's favor, though these "contests" range from rock-paper-scissors to sumo wrestling, so the wins don't mean much. Guy's still proud though.
The Sharingan: Gift and Burden
Kakashi's transplanted Sharingan is both his greatest asset and a serious liability. Because he's not Uchiha, it burns through his chakra way faster than it should. With over a thousand jutsu copied to his name, Kakashi earned the title "Copy Ninja." He does regularly pull out Water Encampment Wall for defense and occasionally uses fire or earth techniques to attack or immobilize.

He's passable with genjutsu too—his Hell Viewing Technique traps opponents in psychological horror until they break free. He's also known for the Thousand Years of Pain, a juvenile but genuinely effective strike that's become something of a running joke.
Original Jutsu
The Fourth Hokage once tried teaching Kakashi the Rasengan, and he attempted to blend it with lightning chakra instead. That failed, but it led him to create the Chidori—his only original technique. The problem was speed: even with his Sharingan, the jutsu moved so fast he couldn't track enemy counterattacks early on. Through practice and mastery, it evolved into the Lightning Blade, capable of cutting through actual lightning.
