Synopsis

A group of people, including a guy named Haruhito, suddenly finds themselves surrounded by darkness with no memory of how they got there. Nobody remembers anything except their own names. When they finally escape the darkness, they're confronted with a world that looks straight out of a video game. To have any shot at survival, Haruhito teams up with the others around him. He picks up combat skills and joins the reserve force as a soldier, taking his first real steps into a world called Grimgar. He has no idea what's waiting for him out there. It's a story about people starting over from nothing.
