Gene's always wanted to be an outlaw, and he actually gets his shot when he inherits the Outlaw Star—a ridiculously advanced spaceship that happens to be stolen. Yeah, that's a problem. The original owners aren't thrilled about it either, so now Gene's got them on his back along with pirates, aliens, and assassins. With his partner Jim and a mysterious woman named Melfina at his side, Gene has to stay ahead of everyone while trying to figure out what makes the Outlaw Star so special in the first place.
