Synopsis

Reina Aharen is tiny, cute, and basically incapable of reading distance. One second she's right in your face, the next she's standing across the room for no reason. Raidou Matsuboshi, who sits next to her in class, is the only person willing to deal with it. He looks intimidating as hell, but he's actually pretty kind—and his imagination gets away from him sometimes. Aharen-san wa Hakarenai is about how these two start becoming friends in the weirdest way possible. It kicks off when Raidou picks up her eraser, which she completely misunderstands as some kind of best-friend declaration. And that's honestly the whole vibe of the show: two people for whom the simplest interactions become these hilariously complicated ordeals.
