Synopsis

Luke Skywalker returns to his home planet of Tatooine to rescue his friend Han Solo from Jabba the Hutt's palace. With help from Leia, Chewbacca, Lando, and the droids, Luke pulls off an elaborate heist to break Han free. But there's bigger trouble brewing. The Empire is building another Death Star—a bigger, badder version—and Darth Vader himself is overseeing the project alongside Emperor Palpatine. The Rebellion gets its hands on the station's schematics and hatches a plan: travel to the forest moon of Endor, destroy the shield generator protecting the Death Star, then blow it to hell while the Empire least expects it. What follows is the Rebellion's last stand. For Luke, it means finally facing his father Vader and making a choice between the light and dark side of the Force. The Empire and Rebellion collide in one final battle that will determine who controls the galaxy.
