Synopsis

Hitori Bocchi is painfully shy and terrible at socializing, which means she goes to ridiculous lengths to avoid people. She's weirdly good at hiding, though her legs give out when she pushes herself too hard. When she's alone, her confidence skyrockets—but put her in a stressful situation and she'll throw up. She's also an obsessive planner. Starting middle school is a nightmare for her because her only friend, Yawara Kai, got into a different school. Now Bocchi has to actually make friends with her new classmates or Kai won't even talk to her anymore. Talk about motivation.
