Toaru Majutsu no Index Gaiden: Toaru Kagaku no Accelerator
Academy City ranks its espers on a six-level scale, with Level 0 having no powers and Level 5 representing overwhelming strength. Out of millions of espers in the city, only seven have reached Level 5—and Accelerator sits at the very top. Toaru Kagaku no Accelerator picks up after the strongest esper sacrificed much of his own power to protect a girl named Last Order. While recovering in the hospital, Accelerator's life stays relatively peaceful until he saves Estelle Rosenthal, a mysterious girl who's somehow carrying a photo of Last Order. That good deed quickly spirals into trouble when a dangerous organization called Disciplinary Action shows up, intent on using Last Order for their own purposes. Now Accelerator and Estelle have to work together to keep Last Order safe and stop Disciplinary Action's plans before they can harm Academy City.
