Synopsis

Rikuo Nura is your typical middle schooler—except he's not. He's got youkai blood running through his veins (one-fourth, to be exact) and he's the heir to the Nura Clan, a massive youkai organization run by his grandfather, Nurarihiyon. Growing up, Rikuo heard all the stories about youkai being destructive and evil, so he spent years actively trying to dodge his inheritance and avoid the whole clan leadership thing. But here's where it gets interesting. When night falls, Rikuo transforms into a full-fledged youkai—a powerful, intimidating version of himself that looks like his grandfather in his prime. Once he realizes he can use this power to actually protect people rather than cause chaos, he has a change of heart. He accepts his role as clan heir and sets his sights on uniting all the youkai factions scattered across Japan under one banner: his own "Night Parade of a Hundred Demons."
