Synopsis

Danganronpa 2: Goodbye Despair Sixteen Ultimate-level students from Hope's Peak Academy wake up on an island with no memory of how they got there. A cute pink rabbit named Usami greets them and explains the setup: they're on a school trip, and they can leave once they've all become friends. That's when things go dark. Monokuma, a sinister black and white bear, shows up and takes over from Usami. He drops the real rules: this is a "School Killing Trip." To escape, someone has to commit murder and get away with it during the class trial that follows. When the first murder actually happens, Nagito Komaeda—the Ultimate Lucky Student—refuses to believe any of them are capable of killing. But as the stakes get higher and despair sets in, his unwavering hope starts to crack under the pressure.
