Kamen Rider Spirits
Taki Kazuya works as an Interpol agent in New York, investigating a series of murders and disappearances that don't seem to have any human explanation. He's obsessed with telling anyone who'll listen about Kamen Rider, a cyborg hero from Japan who destroyed the evil organization Shocker years ago and saved countless lives without asking for anything in return. The only people who actually believe him are a group of orphans he's taken under his wing. When one of the orphans gets turned into a monster, Taki decides to take matters into his own hands. He throws together his own Kamen Rider costume and tries to fight the creature, but he's way out of his depth—he's seconds away from being killed when the original Kamen Rider, Takeshi Hongo, shows up and saves him. With Hongo's help, they manage to take down the monsters. Afterward, Hongo tells Taki that something big and dangerous is coming and asks him to help. He then leaves to track down the other eight Kamen Riders who used to work with him as a team. Taki stays on his job at Interpol while also helping Hongo search for the others.
